Concetta Carrera, 86, of Smithfield RI, passed away peacefully on January 17, 2025. Born in Providence, RI on April 17,1938 to the late Giacomo and Mary (DiChristopher) Salera. She was the wife of the late Domenico “Tommy” Carrera.

Concetta lived most of her life in North Providence, RI and worked at the RI Convention Center for ten years. She is survived by her children Donna Richard of Warwick, RI and Pasquale Read of Smithfield, RI, 5 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, 3 sisters Ann Stanley of Johnston, RI, Jacqueline Dunlap of Alabama, Shirley Silvestro of West Warwick, RI and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Michael Salera, Giacomo Salera, Michelle Daily and Charles Salera.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28th, 2025, from 8:30am-10:15am in the Keefe Funeral Home, Five Higginson Ave. Lincoln. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude Catholic Church, 301 Front St. Lincoln at 11am. Burial will be held in the Rhode Island Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Exeter RI. Please Omit Flowers.
